У раду се разматрају музичке базе података као релевантни електронски извори у пољу дигиталне хуманистике. Нa одабраним примерима је показано на који начин дигитални репозиторијуми својом структуром и избором података генеришу културну разноврсност. Указано је и на пројекте повезивања дигиталних архива различитих институција у јединствене каталоге и портале који промовишу културни диверзитет.
